Training Contract

Our policy at Thunder Force Kennels is to guarantee the best possible training and care for each of our clients and their dogs. Our training consists of at least 5 training days per week, sometimes more. We modify our program to fit each dog’s individual needs. We do however ask that any visits be during the weekdays and by appointment only. We reserve the weekends for our family time, if there is a special circumstance where you are unable to come during the week, we can make an exception and schedule an appointment if possible. Our kennel facility is located at our home and ask that any and all visits have an appointment scheduled.
Our fees are $425 per month, this covers all training, boarding and food. In the event that the client desires to use their preferred brand of food, the client is responsible for insuring the dog has their food available. We will inform our clients to let them know at least a week in advance that their supply is running low. Should you choose to enter competition with your pup there will be a handler’s fee equal to the entry fees for each day entered. This helps to cover our hotel, fuel and other costs incurred by the competition.
Our fees are due on the first day of each month, there is a 10 day grace period. In the event that fees are not paid after the grace period, a $5.00 per day late fee will be added to the bill. We understand that things do come up and may give an extension on a case by case basis. Should you decide to remove you dog from training, unused training fees are non refundable. Any unpaid balance is due before we release the dog at the end of training. Invoices will be posted in client’s personal forum. We can also provide a printed invoice upon request.
From time to time every trainer gets a dog that either due to their genetics or their personality cannot successfully complete the training program. This is uncommon however it does happen. We will give extra attention to those dogs to bring them around and will contact the owner to inform them of the problem. It is then the client’s decision on whether to continue the training for another month or to drop them from the program. If it is decided to continue training, we will reevaluate the dog with the owner present at the end of that month.
All dogs brought onto our facility must be current on all of it's vaccinations. It is the owner's responsibility to keep their dog current on any and all vaccinations while in training. We ask that you bring enough heartworm medication and flea and tick preventative for the time expected in the training program. If your dog is on any other medication, be sure to bring it with written instructions on the dosage and its frequency.
We carefully inspect our training grounds and kennel facility for any hazards that may be present We take every precaution to prevent any accidents, however sometimes accidents do occur that cannot be foreseen nor prevented. Should there may arise a time where your pup requires a veterinarian’s attention, the client is responsible for the vet bill. Our vet accepts credit cards by phone or you may call them and give them your information to keep on file. With the information on file, we can pick up their heartworm and flea and tick preventatives from them and they send you the invoice by mail. Should your pup have an accident, we will inform you immediately. It is your option to use our veterinarian or your choice of veteranarians.
